Since its inception, the Don Mills Civitan Club and the Don Mills Civitan Hockey League has adhered to a mandate of “never refusing an applicant the opportunity of participation due to financial restrictions”.

Although always in place this mandate has been kept “in house” rather than announced publically.

Today, we are pleased to formally announce our sponsorship program that ranges from partial to full sponsorship thanks to the generosity of Canadian Tire (Jumpstart) as part of our Civitan/Jumpstart partnership.

Applicants are obliged to answer a series of questions to be reviewed by the League Executive for approval purposes and will be held in the strictest of confidence in accordance with mandated policies and will be approved (provided the applicant qualifies) within 5-7 days.

We would like to acknowledge the generosity of the Canadian Tire Jumpstart Program in aid of this ongoing vehicle of support.

The 2010 Don Mills Civitan Thanksgiving Tournament is soon upon us and this years dates are Friday October 8, Saturday October 9 and Sunday the 1^0th.

The Tournament is open to Tyke, Minor Novice and Novice Teams.

It is anticipated that this Tournament would cater primarily to Tier #1 and Tier #2 Teams.

As always, registration is accepted on a “first come, first served” basis so you are encouraged to mail it in as soon as possible to guarantee your Child’s position.

The annual Banquet and Silent Auction is the Don Mills Civitan Club's primary fundraising event.  Click here to find out more about who we are what we do with the money raised.

Besides supporting a worthy cause, the Banquet is also a great opporturity to get to know people in the community and have some fun.  For those of you who participate in any of the various hockey programs, it's a chance to celebrate the end of another successful season and to mix with all the other "hockey people" in a different setting away from the rink.

The event will be held on Friday April 9th at Spirale on Don Mills Rd., north of Eglinton.  The $65pp cost includes a multi-course Dinner, open Bar, DJ, Dance and the Auction.  Please email info@dmchl.com if you are interested in attending or donating items for the Auction.  Tickets will be on sale at the arena during the Saturday games March 13 and 20.
