Congratulations to Thornhill (Tyke), Vaughan Panthers Red (Minor Novice) and the Don Mills Civitan Jr. Flyers who were all Champions within their respective age groups.
We look forward to seeing you all again next year.

Oct 6, 2009, 10:04 pmAs of today, Team Drafts are underway and all participants will be contacted by phone prior to the following dates:
2002 and younger: (there will be an evaluation skate at the DMC Arena at 6pm on Thursday Oct. 15th. 1 hour in duration and it's advised to please bring the participant dressed (a call will be made regardless)
2001 and 2000: a call will be received on or before the 15th for Team assignment on the 17th.
1999 thru 1998: a call will be received on or before the 15th for Team assignment on the 17th.
1997 to 1994: These groups will receive a call over Thanksgiving Weekend for assignment on Wednesday the 14th.
1993 and older: These groups will also receive a call over Thanksgiving Weekend for Thursday assignment (the 15th)

Sessions are on Sundays at the Don Mills Civitan Arena and full equipment is mandatory.

Sep 13, 2009, 7:23 amHouse League Registration is almost complete and there is limited availability in all ages with the exception of the 1999/1998 ages that are cuuuently on "hold" as they appear to be full (pending player assignment that may increase availability).
Registration forms may be downloaded by clicking on Registration Forms on the Left hand side of this page but MUST BE HAND DELIVERED AT THIS TIME (to the Civitan Office).
BBQ at the new Don Mills Centre

The Don Mills Civitan Club will be selling Burgers and other tasty treats in the courtyard of the new Don Mills Centre most weekends throughout the summer.

May 1, 2009, 10:00 amOur 59th consecutive House League Season is now in the books!
Once again, the enrolment within the Don Mills Civitan Hockey League has increased by another 10% with well over 400 participants. Over 300 games and an additional 225 practices were organized this season and all were on-time with not one having to be re-scheduled.
In keeping with Club philosophy, divisions were balanced allowing for a degree of competitiveness witnessed by all those involved.
In recognition of this achievement combined with the Club’s 60th anniversary, the Don Mills Civitan Hockey League is pleased to announce that we WILL NOT BE INCREASING OUR REGISTRATION FEES for the upcoming 2009/2010 playing Season. This is undertaken although Ice costs are projected to increase by 6% and an additional increase of 3% reflecting Insurance fees has been approved by the City of Toronto and our respective Governing Body.
The Club feels strongly that participation is a right of all rather than a privilege for a select few and given the current economic climate, we could all use a break.
Registration for the upcoming 2009/2010 Season will be posted in PDF format on this website by the 15th of May and invite all those interested in enrolling to do so at their earliest possible convenience.
10th annual DMCHL Banquet & Silent Auction

Recently, the Don Mills Civitan Club hosted its 10th annual end of Season Banquet and Silent Auction. By all accounts, this event was a resounding success with almost 200 attendees with over 150 items on the Auction Tables ranging from autographed sports memorabilia to toys.
Our sincere gratitude is extended to all those dedicated volunteers who invested countless hours in assuring that this event was an enjoyable evening for all attendees.
Special thanks are extended to Mr. John Finn for his “promotional attributes” that were posted throughout the Don Mills Civitan Arena in aid of this endeavour.
Planning is currently underway for next years Banquet (held the first Saturday in April) and once the details are finalized, posting will be made on this website.
Status of Don Mills Civitan Arena

Due to the ongoing re-development of the Don Mills Centre and the proposal to build a new Arena at Don Mills Rd. & Hwy. 401, many people are under the impression that the existing Don Mills Civitan Arena is going to be closed and/or torn down in the near future. This is most definitely
NOT the case.
The Arena will remain open indefinitely or until a replacement has been constructed. Whether the new arena goes forward or not, there will be no interruption in the operation of the Don Mills Civitan hockey league.
